Hua Zhao is the only son of Chyou and the last born male heir to the Hua family. from early childhood, he had always known that he was different, his grandfather and mother made it no secret that he was the son born from a Spirit Marriage.From an early age, he was raised to be not just a farmer, but follow within the families footsteps of being warriors who went to serve the Emperor within the military. His grandfather instilled upon him the family values of; Loyal, Brave and True. He taught him that the key in life is not just to be humble, but show pride in who you are, as well as in the family. Despite growing up modestly, he was taught to not rely on charity of others, but instead give to others and show no emotions while doing so, for emotions could lead to weakness.At the age of fourteen, he had shown himself to be highly intelligent and a skilled master of the blade. because of this, his service to the Empire began early, as he was enlisted to help bring aid to the front lines, as they were losing ground and with it, bringing harm to the nation. Whispers once more resurfaced, many saying that it was what he deserved, for he had too much good luck already.With the birth of his daughter, once more war broke out between the nation and he was once again called to lead his men into battle. this cycle of his coming and going continued on for several years, until the letter had reached him that he and his wife were once more expecting another child. returning home briefly, he helped his wife to prepare until he was forced to return to the frontlines. it was there that he heard of his wife's passing during childbirth and that his newborn daughter, Hua Mulan had taken her life with her birth of the Hells Flames.Devastated, it became legend that his heartbreak was felt all through China, and the whispers of misfortune once more sprang forward. it was the first time anyone had seen him cry, for a single tear fell the day he read the letter from home. For two years he stayed away, letting his mother raise his daughters, not wishing to return until he met his second wife, Hua Li. It was she who said he was being foolish and dishonoring his late wife's memory by staying away. Together, the two returned to the farm, and he married her.Within their first year of marriage, they welcomed his last born daughter, Hua Xiu. Together, they took over in raising the girls, and he began training both Daiyu and Mulan in the martial ways. However, the peace did not last long, for his eldest daughter began showing signs of cruelty, especially towards Mulan. Trying to tame her, he did his best to discipline her, though he admitted to his wife, that he doubted he was doing a good job.Things took a turn around Mulan's sixth birthday, when he started to really take note of her powers. harnessing in on her training, two were often spotted together when he was home, as he tried to ensure her safety and the safety of others around. However, by the time she had turned seven, things had changed for the worst, she had nearly died and it had been because of Daiyu summoning a demon to try and drown her.For this, he finally took a stand and disowned Daiyu. Despite knowing she was only fourteen, he sent her to live with her mother's family, hoping that she would change her ways. he had others keep an eye on her, though soon after learned that she had disappeared from the public eye.At the age of thirty-nine, Hua Zhao suffered from a devastating injury, one that completely shattered his right knee and left him needing to walk with a cane in order to get around. The wound was sustained on the battle field, thanks to a spear being in the hands of a highly skilled warrior (a demon). with it, it nearly shattered his Golden Core, leaving him unable to walk for a while and unable to rely on his strength. He was sent home with an old friend, the recovery long and painful as he stubbornly refused to rely on others, until both his wife and Mulan cleverly worked together to get him to rest.Now, nearing his sixties, Hua Zhao still serves the Military is a veteran war general, though he is finding more time to spend at home.

After a great deal of travel, Gwen found herself within Surda, a place that remained independent of her father’s ruling. It was here, she found herself settling, for a time, and using the connections there to feed information to the Varden of her father’s trade routes and information about his allies and inner workings of his treaties.

She was once told that her beauty was equaled by her cleverness, a trait of which Gwen had taken great pride in. She valued her wit, and oftentimes enjoyed playing mind games to figure out the character of another. As a true protégée of her teachings, she was a gifted manipulator who knew how to maneuver her way in court politics. Part of her greatest strengths was she had the ability to win the minds and loyalties of her subjects.Although Gwen, given her role she had to play, had to develop many different facades depending on who she is trying to manipulate, is known to genuinely have a good heart, compassion, and empathy. Daiyu has always dark, gory things. she enjoys the ideas of death & often finds it fascinating how the human body can die.Because of this, she comes off as cruel, cold, calculative, which is all true, but she hides it behind a false sunny disposition and nearly flirtish behavior.

Born as the eldest daughter to hua zhou and hua hsien, daiyu had always known that she was different from the rest. She was smarter, stronger and had little desire to fit into the traditional role of the society she was born into.She had a poor relationship with her father, for he had wanted a son, and it was instead stuck with her as a first born. Growing up, she watched her father leave for war more often then she had welcomed him home, and most times when he was around, she joined him in training for she had wanted to learn the arts of battle.daiyu though she cared for her mother, struggled with knowing that she could never fit into the roll of a daughter who would marry to bare sons, and often said "i am well aware my mother feared me."Her life changed though at the tender age of ten, when she discovered her mother would soon be expecting again, eager to have another child in the household to ease the loneliness and longed to teach this child the ways of taking care of itself.On the day of her little sister's birth, daiyu had gone into the forest, practicing upon the gifts of magic, given to her due to her bloodline as the granddaughter of king yama. When she had returned home, she saw the staff in mourning, and heard the cries of a young infant. Ignoring her grandmother's wishes, she rushed into the bedchambers to see the cloth upon her mothers body, soon learning that she "passed within birth".Resentment grew within her heart upon the loss, a feeling that only grew in time as their father refused to return home until two years later with a new wife upon his arm.At fourteen, her life changed once again, the anger within her growing until she tipped over with rage at the prospect of being matched to a village male. While Dongfang Qingcang’s primordial spirit was weakened, it wasn’t destroyed, and since then, both his primordial spirit and body have been locked away in the Haotian Tower. Legend has it that only the Goddess of Xishan can stop the catastrophe if he’s resurrected, but she’s disappeared.When Little Orchid entered the Tower by mistake, he was unsealed and accidentally formed a spell of unity with her. He learns to love and feel compassion for life because of her, which then begins the process the revival of his seven emotions.

Essentially, the user simply cannot be burned to death, being able to walk through a burning building, with merely debris and smoke inhalation to worry about. Remarkably, the user could withstand oven or microwave-level temperatures, heat that would usually cause severe skin damage. Since fire naturally spreads, the user could become a living candle. Though they'd have to be very careful, not to torch everyone/everything else around them.

The user can also completely control the temperature of the fire at will.

Born as the only daughter to a noble family within the Imperial Court, zhang hsien was well known to be a gentle lady, who's family had strong ties to the Imperial Bloodline, as the Empress was the second cousin to her mother.Well studied since birth and a fast learner, hsien received the best education as her father served as a court advisor to the Emperor. through this education, she became well known for her poetry and gentle nature, often called upon to play music to the Empress and the Empress Dowager.During one of these sessions, hua zhou, a military war hero who had long served the emperor, took notice of her, and came to visit her while he was at court. they often had small talks, in which lead to him falling for her. upon saving the emperor's son, he was granted a wish to choose which of whom he could marry, and he had asked for hsien hand if she would accept him. she agreed, for she knew out of all of her suitors, he would be best for her. the two married within a years time and she moved from the imperial court to the small village in which his families land rested upon and began the life of a housewife to a War General who on his time off was a farmer.Fulfilling her duties as a wife, hsien soon found herself with her first child, a little girl which of whom she named daiyu. However, depression soon befell her and though she had long since accepted that her husband served as a well known military general, she hated watching him go off to war, leaving her behind.For three years, she often went from managing the farm, to visiting her friends at court. After the third year of raising her eldest daughter, hsien began to notice traits within her that began to make her fear for the future, a darkness that no one believed existed within the young charming child.However, as fate would have it, after eight years of marriage, she found herself expecting again, and a new worry began to form within her mind as she did not want another child like daiyu. praying for a son, she longed for zhao to return home and help her with her pregnancy. her worries began to stress her, make her weak as she began to often fall ill. After four months of this, zhao was given temporary leave to be with her, though it was short lived for near the end of her pregnancy, he was once more called to the front lines.

Three days before she went into labor, she sent word to her husband to try and get him to return early from the war, so she did not go through this alone. but his request for leave was denied, as he was on the front lines and was needed. In the end, she ended up going into labor alone, save for her midwife and Mother-in-Laws presence.Fear began to trigger within her heart, as her body grew weaker and weaker. through it, she found herself crying out for her husband, begging for her Mother-in-Law to tell him to return, only to be gently reminded he could not. upon the final push, a strange sensation began to form, as Hells Flames began to form around her and in shock, the midwife pulled away along with Mother-in-Law.Sensing that her time was near, she looked towards the open window, gateful that though she was dying, she could at least see her favorite Magnolia flowers in bloom. with the last of her strength, she whispered the name of, "Mulan" before fading to ash.  please note  : this death can be changed if one does not want to have powers in their verses. it will be a different childbirth death.

Born in the ancient province of Inzilbêth and one of several siblings which of whom had died before the rise to power, Galbatorix was accepted into the ranks of the Dragon Riders at the age of ten, after being traditionally tested for potential.He quickly excelled in all areas of combat and spellcasting, which filled him with pride, arrogance, and vanity. Although some of his fellow Riders were wary of his swift rise to power, the majority of the order neglected caution, ultimately leading to their downfall.Upon his hundred and tenth birthday, Galbatorix was gifted a young woman named [Morgan LaFramboise]{#704d9a{ which of whom he had made his seventh columbine, as he had refused to marry or share his power. Yet unlike all the others of whom he bedded before her, she was the first to bare him a child.At first, he was surprised, for nearly a hundred years, none of whom he had bedded had ended up with child, until now. In preparation, he made sure that the child was his own and not of a trick, using dark magic to aid his cause. When the spell work came back with the knowledge that she was indeed expecting his own child, he made sure she lived the life of pure luxury, making sure she was well cared for until the birth of the child.When his daughter was born, he remained outside the halls of the birthing chambers, only to come in when he heard that she had given birth to a daughter, of whom she named Guinevere Anwyn Kemble. Her birth pleased him, for unlike Morzan, who married the woman whom he made his black hand, his would be of blood.Naming her his heir, Galbatorix proclaimed it to his kingdom, knowing that he had no intention of stepping down from his role of King.

   Descent into

Soon after his training had been finished, when he was about 19 years old, Galbatorix and his dragon Jarnunvösk, along with two companions and their dragons, entered the Spine. They believed their powers would protect them. During this reckless trip, they ventured far north into Urgal territory and they were eventually ambushed in the dead of night as they made camp. All were slain, except for Galbatorix who, despite suffering great wounds himself, managed to defeat his attackers. In the confusion, a stray arrow pierced the heart of Jarnunvösk, and without the knowledge to save her, she perished. Deranged by the loss of Jarnunvösk, Galbatorix wandered aimlessly in the wild for weeks, utterly delirious. He began to long for death and so he blindly attacked any creature or Urgal he happened upon: however, he was too skilled to defeat and was denied the release he craved. Eventually, he became so terrifying in appearance that the Urgals avoided him altogether.Sometime during this period he likely met Durza, the spirits inside Durza teaching him many things. In return, Galbatorix helped Durza restrain the spirits that controlled him. After a while, he began to hope that the Riders might grant him another Dragon.Encouraged by this, he decided to journey back to the order. Starvation plagued him during this journey and when he finally reached the outer edge of the Spine, he was found unconscious and close to death by a farmer, who promptly summoned the Riders. Once he had recovered sufficiently, he stood before the Elder Riders and demanded that they grant him a new dragon, but Oromis discerned the madness in him and persuaded the other Elders to deny his request.This effectively drove Galbatorix further into insanity and hatred. His mind became twisted by the previous events until he came, in his grief and rage, to believe that it was the Riders' fault that Jarnunvösk had died. Having firmly convinced himself of this, he plotted his eventual revenge.

   The Fall of

In secret, he began training himself in the dark arts under the tutelage of the Shade Durza. With this newfound power, he persuaded a sympathetic Rider to lure and assassinate an Elder. When the deed was done, he then turned on his ally, murdered him and his dragon in cold blood, then seized his Eldunarí before letting out a demented scream of insanity. The other Riders quickly discovered him in the act, but he fled into the wild, biding his time. He hid in the wastelands in agony with only the Eldunarí for company, always alert for his pursuers, who eventually gave up on their search. Years later, after finally subduing the Eldunarí and bending it to his will, he found another young Rider, a strong, but weak-willed human named Morzan and persuaded him to join his cause. Morzan then aided him by leaving a gate unlocked in the elf city of Ilirea, which later became known as Urû'baen. This allowed Galbatorix to enter and steal the dragon hatchling Shruikan after murdering his Rider. Through the use of certain types of dark magic, Shruikan was bonded to Galbatorix and forced into servitude.Besides Morzan, twelve other corrupt Riders came to serve Galbatorix out of greed, arrogance, or otherwise some kind of desire for vengeance for perceived wrongs or the desire to tear down what had been built. These thirteen Riders were known as the Forsworn, or Wyrdfell to the elves. With the Forsworn behind him and augmented by the Eldunarí he captured and forced into servitude, Galbatorix returned to the world to challenge the Riders. His desire was not only for vengeance, but to acquire as many Eldunarí as he could. He slaughtered every Rider he came across and took their dragons' heart of hearts, before seizing the whole Eldunarí collection the Riders carelessly guarded - or so he thought.At the behest of Vrael, Oromis and their dragons Umaroth and Glaedr, 135 Eldunarí and 243 dragon eggs, 26 of which had been set aside for the Dragon Riders, were hidden in the Vault of Souls along with the Eldunarí of Umaroth himself, in a subterranean area beneath the roots of Mount Erolas, deep enough to evade magical detection. The memory was magically removed from the minds of all who knew, including the mothers of every egg, using magic similar to that the Dragons had used in the Banishing of the Names. Galbatorix would never learn of the existence of this cache and erroneously believed his victory to be absolute. During this time, he ruthlessly hunted down and murdered his teachers. Eventually, he came to battle Vrael, the leader of the Riders, at the gates of Doru Araeba. Vrael would've emerged victorious during this duel, but just as he was about to deal the final blow, he hesitated, allowing Galbatorix a chance to viciously wound him in the side. Forced into retreat, Vrael hoped to recover at a hidden fortress on top of the mountain, Edoc'sil, or Utgard. He did not get a chance, as Galbatorix hunted him there and in the duel that followed, Galbatorix decapitated Vrael after kicking him between his legs. With the leader of the Riders dead and most of the others massacred, Galbatorix became one of the most powerful beings in Alagaësia, only achieving this because of the Eldunarí's power he used. From this point on, he then became king over all the land.Galbatorix also stole Islingr, Vrael's sword, from the dead Rider's corpse, claiming it for his own and renaming it "Vrangr". However he failed to obtain the Eldunarí of Umaroth, Vrael's Dragon, as it had been hidden from him in the Vault of Souls.

   The Broddring Empire

Galbatorix and his followers defeated both the elves and the dwarves, both of whom afterward went into hiding. Galbatorix then captured Ilirea with the Forsworn, where he deposed and murdered King Angrenost, the rightful ruler of the Broddring Kingdom.With this act, he proclaimed himself the new monarch of Alagaësia. From then on, his domain became known as simply the Empire. It should be noted that despite this, the Broddring Kingdom still officially existed, though by the time of the Rider War it was little more than a name upon royal decrees and became obsolete.Most of those under Galbatorix's rule never even knew it existed. His rule was ruthless and cruel, and although much of the Broddring Empire stayed loyal to Galbatorix, there was a small rebel group called the Varden.

With it, he can restrict other spell-casters from using magic via the Ancient Language, break heretofore "unbreakable" oaths sworn in said language, and remove any spell (such as wards) cast using the Ancient Language.Even in his youth, Galbatorix was a prodigy in combat and spellcasting. When Galbatorix and two other Riders were ambushed by Urgals, he alone was able to kill his attackers and survive. Another powerful magical feat of Galbatorix included casting an illusion to conceal his army of one hundred thousand soldiers from Urû'baen, which lasted indefinitely until the Varden discovered the army. Other magical feats include providing Elvish-Physical Enhancements to his Highest-Ranking General Barst, thereby granting him speed and strength rivalling that of even the strongest elves, manipulating the usage of Magic inside Urû’baen; ceasing the usage of spells, failing cast enchantments and twisting the effect of spells on intended targets, outright affecting allies instead of the enemy.The only Rider who could and overcame him in a duel was Vrael, the Leader of the Dragon Riders; Galbatorix only survived through the Elder Rider's hesitation to deliver a killing blow as well as by resorting to kicking the leader of the Riders in his testicles.In addition, Galbatorix is shown to be a skilled military tactician and political maneuverer and is adept at manipulating people and events. His insanity evidently had no effect on his intelligence. Galbatorix is also highly charismatic. Murtagh stated that he was "the most convincing and frightening man I've ever met Galbatorix". His voice was deep, rich, and seductive, imbued with great authority; many considered it to be among his most deadly weapons.Numerous characters such as Brom and Glaedr have stated that Galbatorix's greatest strength is not magic or physical might but his ability to dominate the minds of others. Over the years he had bent many a powerful mind to his will, including his second dragon Shruikan, the Shade Durza, and thousands of dragons' Eldunarí. Despite their immense power and will, Galbatorix broke the minds of the dragons one by one until they blindly served him and his servants.On the receiving end of the king's mental attack, Eragon noted that Galbatorix derived a perverse pleasure from breaking into minds: That he enjoyed his opponent's pain and suffering explained why he was so proficient at the task.For all of Galbatorix's power, his education in magic seems to have been incomplete. He labored under the impression that, once he discovered the true name of the Ancient Language, he would be able to prevent anyone from using magic without his permission. This suggests, as noted by Eragon, that Galbatorix was not aware that it was possible to perform magic non-verbally. During his training, Oromis told Eragon ; "Only know this; that which you ask for (non-verbal magic) was not taught to the Riders-and is not taught to our magicians-until they had, and have, mastered every other aspect of magic, for this is the secret to the true nature of magic and the ancient language".He also appears cocky and overconfident in the books. His decision to not attack the Varden personally when Eragon was weak and vulnerable proved to be his ultimate mistake. His decision to wait out and chip away at the Varden while trying to find the Ancient Language's true name gave Eragon time to become more powerful and sure of himself. He also believed that his power made him untouchable by even the most determined of assassins.Galbatorix's possible greatest weakness was his lack of compassion and understanding of love. His continued abuses of Murtagh and Thorn estranged them and his inability to see the effect Nasuada had on Murtagh allowed Murtagh's true name to change. His every act of cruelty gave more power to the Empathy Spell when it was cast, eventually giving it enough power that the pain it caused Galbatorix forced him to destroy himself.
